I feel that the characters from my animation are perfect suited for the current industry trends. This is because in the last decade there has been a large number of releases that have a darker theme that focuses on comedy. For instance south park which has been a largely popular animation for a long time now.
The design aspect of my animation is also fitting to the current trends as it focuses on content of character rather than aesthetics. The simplistic line drawn look is still hugely popular as the youtube market of animations has blown up within recent years. This style of animation is my personal favourite as it doesn't focus on detail of animation but the sustenance of the characters. This style also fits my target audience and my focused group of viewers.

LO3 Appropriate Voice Actors
Voice actors are all subjective as there can never be a voice that fits the charater perfectly, however I feel that as I have the best understanding of the characters I feel I should take the position of Jerrys voice actor. This is because I understand how to voice the light but slightly unstable side of his personality. Terry should be played by a person who can voice Terry similar to Jerry but slighly more reasonable and logical. The others could be played by voice actors from the industry who have a vast amount of experience as they are support characters. However due to expenses i will enlist my friend Jack Bonardt for Terry and support roles as he has had voice acting experience before, has a good vocal range and can do a wide verity of different voices.

LO3 Legal and Ethical
Legal
In the animation industry there are lots of legal issues that can arise from animation production, the most important one to avoid is intellectual property infringement as in the animation industry intellectual property is everything to studios. Another legal issue to avoid is Defamation of character, this is especially hard for animations such as south park and family guy as they use some strong and colourful language that might offend people. This defamation can be excused if what was said turns out to be the truth and is an honest opinion.
Ethical
There are not as many ethical issues as legal issues however they are equally as important as they directly relate to the target audience. One ethical issue would be non-disclosure, this is a very important ethical requirement from most big name animation studios as it directly affects the IP of a product. Another ethical issue is image content as it is a blurry issue. Image content is when materials "looks like" other peoples materials so there are clashes. Censorship is also a large ethical issue as it affects the audience in a big way, censorship is the condemnation of selected content in a piece of media, in the animation industry it often occurs when an animation is at risk of breaching defamation of character by insulting, offending or discriminating.
